Terms & Conditions

1. The operator

Map This City is operated by Judit Forintos, a sole proprietor (individual entrepreneur) in Hungary. Registered business address: Hungary, 1121 Budapest, Rácz Aladár street 16. Tax number: 91481481-1-43. Business registration number: 61236082. Contact email:mapthiscitycom@gmail.com . See our Legal notice / Impresszum for operator information.

2. Your Safe Dining Kit

The Budapest Gluten-Free & Vegan Safe Dining Kit includes an interactive map web app, a Hungarian coeliac Waiter Card and a three-day food itinerary. The advertised price is €19 as a one-time payment; the final total and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Map access and map updates are available for one calendar year from purchase. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Your personal access code is remembered in your browser after you open your purchase link. Clearing browser storage requires opening that link again; it does not restart the access period. Manually issued codes are valid for one year from their creation.

3. Paddle.com is the reseller

Orders are handled by Paddle.com as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle manages the checkout, collects payment, handles VAT and invoicing, and issues purchase receipts. Your payment transaction is with the Paddle entity identified at checkout, subject to the Paddle buyer terms presented there.

Map This City provides the kit content and map service. Your personal access link is sent to the email address used for your purchase after payment confirmation. Keep that email and link secure; no account or password is required.

4. Personal use

You may use the kit for your personal travel planning. Do not resell the kit, publish its full venue list, share access codes publicly, or attempt to bypass access restrictions. You may show the Waiter Card to restaurant staff. These terms do not restrict rights granted by applicable law.

5. Dietary and travel information

The kit is an information resource, not medical advice or a certification that any meal is allergen-free. Venue categories preserve the source information, and conflicting descriptions are flagged. Vegan does not mean gluten-free. Menus, opening hours, staff practices and ingredients may change.

On every visit, confirm allergen information, your dietary requirements, ingredients and cross-contact precautions on site with the venue before ordering. Locations without geocoded addresses are not given invented map pins. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions.

6. Refunds and consumer rights

The Safe Dining value guarantee allows you to request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if the kit does not save you research time and help you decide where to eat. See our Refund Policy for the request process.

Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Any consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledgement concerning withdrawal rights must be presented separately at checkout where required by law; accepting these terms alone does not waive those rights.

7. Availability and liability

Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance or matters outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limits your statutory rights. If there is a problem with your access, use the support details in your purchase receipt.

8. Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains how purchase and access information is used. Updated terms apply to future purchases; changes do not reduce rights already attached to your purchase. Applicable mandatory consumer protections, including those in your country of residence, remain available.
